you know one of the hardest things is to write ‘about’ yourself..
So here goes – just a bunch of odd things about me.
I’m a bit of goose, I love to sing, my kids give me so much joy…..I adore my family more than anything in the world. I don’t care if you think I’m a bit crazy, I’m having fun. I love sushi and laughing. I like word puzzles, I learn something new everyday. I can’t dance but I like to anyhow. I love the smell of the Australian bush and clothes straight off the clothesline.
And on a more serious note…..
Firstly I’m wife to Paul, and Mum to Chloe 10yrs and Jesse 7yrs.
My passion for photographing children began with the birth of Chloe. With every milestone she reached, every cheeky smile, tantrum etc…the realisation of how fleeting these moments: came the desire to capture it all, on film. Precious memories immortalised!
My career path was a natural progression, in high school I wanted to be a kinder teacher, so it is no surprise my life took this path. It was always there – it just took me awhile to get there.
I also teach a day at week at Darebin GymbaROO – my kids are 0-5years, and I adore watching them grow and reach their milestones. Their gorgeous smiles each week light up my life, and give me hope, joy and direction. These gorgeous kids, really helped me get through some recent hard times, when we lost a loved one. Just coming in each week with their gorgeous smiles, sweet chatter was enough to help in the healing process!
I feel blessed to be able to pursue my passion as my career, and even more honoured that you choose me to share a little of your life.

Hi Amanda,
Thank you so much for all your help with my baby James last night at my dad’s retirement dinner. It was so nice to have a bit of a break, sorry that I’m contacting this way but I have put your card down somewhere amongst our trappings, but to be honest I feel that it is a blessing in disguise as I have had the chance to look you up on the computer and check out your gorgeous work, it is just so tastefully beautiful and classy. I really look forward to seeing the photo’s from last night. So thank you once again on so many levels, warmest regards Sarah
